Cardiac Rehabilitation and Ongoing Support
Cardiac rehabilitation provides structured support to help you rebuild strength, fitness and confidence after a cardiac event, surgery or new diagnosis.
Whether you’re just beginning your recovery or continuing after a rehab program, we’ll meet you where you are and help you move forward at a pace that feels safe, manageable and sustainable.
-
Cardiac Rehab is a program designed to help you recover and regain your health after a cardiac event, diagnosis, or procedure.
It's a comprehensive approach that helps you to manage your heart condition, improve your overall well-being, and support your long-term heart health.
-
Our 1:1 Exercise Physiology sessions are designed to safely increase your fitness and strength.
This may involve a combination of aerobic exercise, strength training and flexibility/balance exercises; all tailored to your current abilities and cardiac condition.
Our small group classes provide a supportive, welcoming environment to build strength and cardiovascular capacity alongside others with similar health needs.
During the class you will follow your personalised program, individually tailored for your needs and goals.
Education and Information
Learning about your specific heart condition, understanding your medications, managing risk factors (such as high blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes), and recognising the warning signs of heart problems.
Lifestyle Modification Support
Practical guidance on adopting healthier habits, including nutrition advice, weight management strategies, quitting smoking, and reducing alcohol intake.
-

Cardiac rehabilitation offers a range of significant benefits, supporting you to not only recover from a heart event but also embrace a healthier, more confident future.
Through personalised exercise and education, you'll strengthen your heart, improve your energy levels and significantly enhance your overall quality of life.
Participation has been shown to reduce the risk of further hospitalisation and support long-term cardiovascular health.
You'll also gain confidence, learn how to manage key risk factors, and acquire the knowledge to understand and take control of your heart health.
-
At CardioCare, we offer an individualised approach to cardiac rehabilitation. Unlike generic group rehab, our cardiac rehab exercise and education is tailored specifically to your heart condition, your exercise history and your personal goals.
This focused attention allows for close monitoring and support.
We also provide greater access to a large range of gym equipment in a supportive, less overwhelming environment.
We work collaboratively with your broader healthcare team, including your GP and Cardiologist; ensuring seamless integration with your overall treatment plan.

Your heart health journey doesn't end when cardiac rehab finishes. In many ways, this is where your new chapter begins.
