Welcome, I’m Sophie

BExSS (CEP) (Hons), AEP, AES, PGDipMedSon (Cardiac), AMS

Embarking on a journey to better heart health can feel like a significant step; and quite often a challenging one. It's a path that requires care and understanding, and I'm here to gently guide you along the way.

My approach to supporting your heart health is shaped by a unique blend of clinical expertise and practical understanding. I am a senior Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP), having completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science (Honours, majoring in Clinical Exercise Physiology) at the University of Queensland in 2018. I am also a senior Cardiac Physiologist (Sonographer), with a Post-Graduate Diploma of Medical Sonography (Cardiac) completed in 2021 at the University of South Australia.

This combined background allows me to bring a deeper understanding of the heart’s structure and function directly into your care. It enables me to thoughtfully design personalised exercise programs that are safe, effective and progressively developed to align with your individual needs, medical history, and goals.

This clinic was inspired by my own father's journey with cardiac experiences. His journey gave me a profound appreciation for the dedicated support needed and how consistent movement is so integral to recovery and well-being.

My mission is to create a safe, supportive and personalised space where you can gently rebuild your physical well-being and proactively manage your heart health. I'm here to listen, to support and to celebrate every positive step you take.

What Sophie Supports

At CardioCare Clinic, we understand that heart health encompasses a wide spectrum of experiences and conditions.

Whether you're taking proactive steps to protect your heart, managing an ongoing condition, recovering from a recent event or navigating complex challenges like POTS; we're here to provide dedicated, personalised support.

  • Taking charge of your heart's future begins with understanding its unique blueprint. Cardiac risk factors are aspects of your health and lifestyle that if unaddressed can increase the likelihood of heart conditions developing.

We focus on the factors you can influence, providing gentle guidance and practical strategies to help you take positive steps. It's about being proactive and building healthy habits that last a lifetime.
